Meeting

To all of those families patiently waiting to adopt from Belarus, I wanted to share info that I just became aware of. International adoption in Belarus has been on hold for about a month now. The President of Belarus was suppose to review the post adoption placement of children previously adopted to assess their health and well-being. There was suppose to be a meeting on the 15th of November to announce if international adoption will continue. This meeting has now been postponed until January 15th. My husband and I have chosen to pursue an adoption from Russia because of the recent events in Belarus. We are sad and heartbroken. Good luck to all of those still waiting for their children.
