hi
first i have to say sorry if there is any info posted on this board .. i did try to search but it didnt work.
I'm new here and hope i hit the right forum.. if not maybe it can be moved.
I try to find information about adult adoption (inernational) but there is not much out.
Maybe someone can give me a hint where to start.

In order to complete an international adoption, the person has to be under the age of 16, and considered an orphan.
There is no way to adopt an adult and bring him or her to the US on an adoption visa.

guess i hit the right folder.
A friend of mine called a lawyer and they told her its possible.
She has an appointment tomorrow and they will tell her what needs to be done.
I will post the info as soon as i get it and hope this will help others too.
