Here are few things to think about: Generally speaking, a woman is only fertile one day each month, and that day is usually fourteen days after the first day of her period. This is when ovulation occurs. There must be live sperm in the fallopian tube to meet the egg when ovulation happens. Otherwise, pregnancy will not occur. Don't forget that sperm can live for up to several days in a woman's body. HOWEVER, ovulation can be irregular in some women, meaning that they may ovulate at ANY time during a cycle. This means that the one day she is fertile could be any day of the cycle. If a woman does not want to get pregnant, then it is not wise to have unprotected sex at any time. It is to early to tell if you are pregnant yet. I always waited until three days after my period was due if I thought I was pregnant. All three times I waited that long and felt I was pg, I was. (one lost to miscarriage) (also the only one "lost") 2 days after your period is not the most fertile time of the month. You most likely have nothing to worry about. Next time- one word- protection. Use it. There are lots of places that will get you birth control without parental consent still. Find one. Being sexually active at a young age is not always the best idea. I was young also. I was pregnant with my first when I was 16. I have a friend who had her first at 14- got pg when she was 13. The "father" was 21 and spent a few years in jail. If a boy is pressuring you for sex- he's not worth your time. Being a teen parent was very difficult. I wanted to go to college after high school. I am 24 and just going back this spring. My daughter is finally in school so I can finally afford to go back if I dont mind being horribly broke for the next four years. This is not the way I pictured my life. I had plans to build my own home- now I'm a single parent barely able to pay my bills some months. And if it wern't for my bf- I wouldnt be able to at all. Building a home is NOT in my near future. What do you want from your life? Will having unprotected sex get you to your goals? Or will it hinder you? Think about how you want your life to turn out.
