I know I'm thinking FAR in advance here, but I plan on adopting from Hong Kong when I am of age and have enough money. I plan on researching Hong Kong culture, tradition, and so forth but I thought I might ask my question here before doing so..if you all don't mind. Ok, so HK is a part of China now, but you have to go through the ISS in HK in order to adopt from the country. The authorities in China have no say-so in it. My question is this...what traditions and such do the two countries have in common? I don't want to put the wrong information in the book (when the time comes). Like, if the panda has nothing to do with HK, then I don't want to put it in. The only reason why I ask this is because the two countries are so close to each other and since they ARE part of the same country now they may share some parts of their culture. Does anyone know? Have I made my question clear enough to understand? Sometimes I can't word my questions just right. Thank you!
