Just returned from Moldova

Hello all; Just an FYI for all those awaiting SOME sort of news from Moldova...... I am proceeding through the Moldova program with Lutheran Social Services. Two families in the program just returned with their new daughters. One family adopted a sibling group, three girls, 6, 4, and 2. They were from a very small orphanage (only 8 kids) They were very well cared for and loved...it is evident. No actual delays, they are beautiful girls! The other family just returned with their new daughter, a 22 month old girl. She came from a very large orphanage and has some delays that are normal for that situation..........but all are outgoing and beautiful. My husband and I were very happy to finally see families go through the system!Evidently.......... however.........they are changing the system a bit, so we'll see if it slows things down.... we just finished our homestudy and are sending everything off to await our fingerprint apointments and then send our dossier to Moldova.It is NOT a fast program..........these families were in limbo for a while, but hopefully things will go smoother now. :) Chey (32) DH David (32,) DD Abby, (4) Looking forward to adopting a baby girl from Moldova this year!
