Hi everyone! What's going on with you all?
I turned in our FBI fingerprint cards that we had done at the local state police office last Tuesday.
Our case worker said once they came back we'd have a quick final homestudy and be open for foster to adopt.
Anyone have any experience with a timeframe for them to come back from Harrisburg?
Hey there!
Our CW told us it would take 6-8 weeks and I have to say - I think it took about that.
Although mine came back BOTH times as "unreadable" so then until I got them re-done and sent back in and another 6-8 weeks and then they were un-readble AGAIN! So, after 2 times of not being able to read them they simply do a background check with your name and social security number. That came back in a week. I can;t seem to understand WHY they wouldn't just do that to begin with....anyway!
Have you heard anything yet?
We just got the call that we were approved YESTERDAY...now the REAL waiting begins! :) I told someone on another board that I feel like I am pregnant but I don;t know when my due date is! HAHAHa
WOuld love to get to know you better as being in PA gives us a big commonality. What part of PA are you from? We are between Reading and Phila. - closer to Reading.
