Viewing 'new posts' - why so few?

I appreciate that this may be a user error......but how come when I log on to view new posts, sometimes there are many and sometimes there are so few? :confused: Most of the times there is one page but sometimes I get lucky and there are eight. I like reviewing lots of new posts - am I doing something wrong? Thanks!

There used to be a feature for viewing all posts within the last 24 hours. That is still being worked and we are planning on having it restored.

The "new post" button gives you all the new posts since your last log in, If you are on the forums for a while, it will only display the posts since your last time-out, refresh or cache. (resulting in only one page of posts)

In short, it's not just you ;)
