Hello Charles
Ahhh, the old Alexandria Hospital. Originally located on Duke Street in downtown Alexandria, demolished years ago, new building erected called The Atrium (I left the area 16 years ago, not sure if The Atrium still exists). Dr. Murphy, he must have been the big cheese OB in those days, he delivered me.
I'm searching for my brother (they say born 4/57, although I can't be sure that this is correct information) My mom now deceased, stayed at Florence Crittendon Home for Unwed Mothers in DC, keep hitting brick walls.
Do you have any other information on your birth other than what you posted?

I don't have any brith info at this time. I'm applying for adoptoin disclosure and non-ID info on my brith family, which I understand can be difficult to obtain in VA! I have recently been told that CHRIS Murphy may have been my delivery doctor, not Frank Murphy. They are not related, but Chris was the OB and Frank was the pediatrician.
Hey Charles
Well I'll have to dig out the old baby scrapbook and see what my doc Murphy's first name was. I hope that your efforts to obtain disclosure and non-ID info proves successful. It really shouldn't be made so difficult for us to find those missing from out lives. I keep thinking that my brother may be out there searching for my Mom and running into the same brick wall and doesn't even realize that she is no longer with us. I wish you luck, keep us posted on how things go.
