just getting started

here goes...my mother in law passed away 2 years ago. since then we were told that she had 2-3 more children who had been given up for adoption between 1945 - 1955. in pennsylvania (york area) we think 1 boy 1 girl not sure about the third if indeed there was one. she also had 3 other children (my husband included) from 3 marriages. My husband's 1/2 sister is the oldest. she is desperate to find out who her siblings are and if she is a full sister to any. we are not sure if they were adopted through catholic charities or not but her mother was sent away to a special school in the area that was affiliated with the catholic church. we have a few more bits and peices of information and are finding out more as time goes on but if you were adopted around that time and from that area please post so we can exchange info. thanks
