Born San Antonio 11-27-57

I was born in San Antonio Texas, 11-27-57, My mother was 15 years old, she had two bothers and two half bothers, my grandmothers birthday was1-10-1916, my grand father owned his own truck. finial adoption paper December 5th 1958.I am a Irish, dutch desendent

I recieved a E-mail from a lawyer, saying that he was the one that handled my adoption, He inclued a phone number, that looked funny, and an e-mail address that didn't work, he said that my information had been placed in a valt, and that only family members were aloud to find out the content. I checked the lawyers name with the Texas bar, and found out there were two lawyers with the name, one was a realastate lawyer, and the other had been disbarred. So I sent him a e-mail, and told him, if I was the person in question, than what were my adoptive parents first names, no respones from him since. I am wandering if the phone number given, was one of those high prices calls, that people get traped into, he seem to want me to call it really bad. It had too many numbers in it. It might have been a country code. I am interested in find out, if anyone else had this happen to them.

I recieved a letter from the court today, saying that my adoption records are open, and all I need to do is sent money for the the copies.

[font=Arial]The court has just opened Kevins records.[/font][font=Arial] We got the info we needed to find Kevin's birth mother yesterday. His name before he was adopted was Robert Allen Carrigan, his mother name was Valta Ree Carrigan. After many hours of searching, I found her, she lives in Abilene. Kevin says he is going to call his Mom, we still don't know his dad's name, it was not in the info, probably because she was a miner.[/font][font=Times New Roman] [/font][font=Arial]Kevin has just spoken with his birth grandmother, unfortunately his Mother died 9 years ago. His grand mother wants to meet him, so we are going to Abilene on Monday. She is 90 years and lives on a ranch. We found out the his Mother didn't want to give him up but her father forced her too, the grand mother always wandered what kind of life he had. She said that his brothers and sisters don't know about him. We found out that one of his sisters lives here. He can't wait to meet his grandmother and maybe see a picture of his Mom.[/font][font='Times New Roman']Kevin met his birth grandmother she a great person. She filled in a lot of blank spaces in for him. It is very sad that Kevin didn't get to meet his mother but his granny told us what her daughter was like. She said that she like her daughter. did not want to give up Kevin. She also said that she prayed for years, that she would one day get to meet him, and always worried that was not being taking care of, that is something she was glad to hear, was that he was placed into a good home. She gave him some pictures of his Mother, a one brother and one sister, he has 5 sisters and one bother, and he looks a lot like his bother, except for the color of their hair. [/font][font='Times New Roman'] We have some of their phone numbers and addresses. She knows who his father was but donҒt want to tell hi, she said that the fathers family wanted him and their was a big fight over him. [/font][font='Times New Roman']We also found out that the social worker, was a friend of the family. His grandmother lives on a ranch, with five other family households, they are her son and his grown children, They all have their own houses, as does his grandmother, they are all within walking distant of each other. His uncle has asked to meet us, we are very excited about that. He has a grandson the same age as Riley, they sound like they would get along very well. We might try to take Riley (our grandson) up there to meet them soon.[/font]
