As the Easter weekend just past, I have been thinking of Jeffrey's family. He has been missing for far too long and the family still can't get the law enforcement help or media coverage that might help them find out what happened to him. No one deserves this, I am so sorry. When I heard a rumor that the remains of Jeffrey Lee Ben had been found, I had mixed emotions. I was relieved that the nightmare that his family has been through would finally be over and they could begin to heal. Although we have always known that he was most likely dead, finding remains would mean that it is a reality.However, the rumors were not true. That, too, is bittersweet. It means that there may be a chance that he is still alive, but his family is still deprived of his presence. His little brothers want him to come home. His sister and mother cry for to see him just one more time. My prayers go up for a hurting family. It must be sheer torture to wonder where you child is.
