I too went through CC in St.Paul I am a birthmom. I am wondering if you ever tried saying you need medical information? I wonder if that could speed up the process. Since I placed in 1985 I know information can get through and rather quickly when they want it to. When I updated health information I did hear back within a week. Of coarse it was a-mom saying she didn't like the news. But I tried to do the right thing by my son. He needs to know good or bad....to take steps now to be healthier later. I think after the adoption they want everyone to just go awayand pretend it is done and over. I know the way it was explained to me was he could go in when he turned 19 and get the information but now I know it is a service for a fee. Good luck in your search.

Sitting up....eating like a hog...lol sleeping pretty well most nights...then he will throw in a ringer and get up at 4 or 4:30...usually on Tues night before I go to work on Wed....only working part time so it isn't bad. Lisa ~ You sound fantastic, and you're enjoying your little one! When my kids were younger I shopped on the internet quite a bit, instead of venturing to the mall! Tink ~ What's happening? Christi ~ How's it going? I am now working as a special ed assistant in a first grade classroom. I love my job! Even the challenging days are truely wonderful. I've also started back to school, and in the end I hope to earn a master's in elementary education. The kids are all doing great! We see my birthson, Jim, about every weekend. Eric especially spends alot of time with him. Jim's parents are doing great too. I can't believe it's already been almost a year since I met them all! I can't think of anything else! R*** is moving in next week, so at 29/46 we have much to learn from each other. He asked to take us up on our offer to live here, to meet/ mentor / meld our lives together again. He will only be 3 hours from aparents, 6miles from Bdad, and across the country from where he's been the last 10 years. Both families are feeling good about this. Hurray ! Valentines day, my birthgrandson will be 10! He was placed for adoption also, but I have seen his picture, resembles my 19 yr old. Cute of course. :) We will be grandparents in August. from our newlyweds. Our step-grandson is 4,and birthson is excited about being an uncle!! Hi Sally! Thanks for bumping up the thread!!! This past December, Eric turned 15 and Jim turned 21. This weekend, because of the snow, the kids aren't getting together. Needless to say, Eric saw no problem with driving around in the midst of a snowstorm to go with Jim to his radio show Saturday night. We are hoping to catch some of the Olympics this weekend while we clean the house. It's long overdue! I'm working as a special ed assistant in a first-grade classroom, and really loving it. Those kids are adorable. :cheer: Sounds exciting! Your birthson is moving in!!! Way cool!! Happy birthday to your birthgrandson! Time does fly by! I am still interested in adoption reform. Suicide awareness education. Prescription Drug abuse. Sexual molestation sentencing. :( All the topics that have graced our family in the last 8 years since my reunion with Rick was taking place. :confused: I am going to be patiently awaiting the possible reunion with Rick's birthson who turned 17 this past Valentines day. I've seen photo's of him and talked with his birthmom, and he was precious to Rick. So, that's Rick's heavenly gift to me,:wings: a grandson! His birthmom,Ricks x gf. is sweet, we've exchanged photo's and she is promising to forward information when the time comes that he is ready. She only has photo sharing with him at this time. :3d: So HVAL, if your reading this.. Valentine is still on my mind.
