I was born 11/3/80 in McCleary and adopted 3 days later in Seattle. The agency that handled the adoption no longer exists, so I don't know where to turn next. :mad:

My Amom says my Bmom's last name may have been Chancellor or Chandler.

Hi-

Start by getting your non-identifying information from the county. Most likely this will be the county where your adoptive parents lived at the time the adoption was finalized.

You request the non-id info from the Superior Court in that county (usually from the County Clerk or adoption services division).

If your parents lived in King County, call 206-296-9350 (King County Adoption Services). You may have to leave a message with your contact info, then they'll send you the form to fill out. Think it costs $30 now. Be sure to specify you want first names and ages.
