Looking for birthmom - F born 8/23/50, Minneapolis, Eitel hosp.

I am helping a friend look for her birthmom. She was born 8/23/50, Eitel Hospital, Minneapolis (now defunct), but the adoption supposedly went through a catholic adoption agency. She actually has quite a bit of information - birthname, attorneys, etc. I don't have experience searching in MN (I searched in CA, WA, AZ, OR successfully to find my birthrelatives), but it looks like there aren't a lot of public information like birth indexes, etc. in MN Can someone give me a handle on how to get started? And are Eitel records anywhere? Thanks.
