I-171H Wait time

This is the official website for processing times of the various offices. However, it's only somewhat reliable. Most of the folks posting here have reported much quicker times than this site is reporting. I strongly encourage contacting your congressman or senator about the processing times. I took a look at the 2005 budget for the Homeland Security Dept and one of their stated objectives is to increase customer response times and get rid of the backlog of applications. If they are still working on last years paperwork, they can hardly be called "responsive". Sandy we're in TN also and I've been hearing 6-8 weeks for approval. I think the processing times on the website are misleading, if they were right we'd all wait a lot longer than that. We just got our fingerprinting done last Wednesday so we'll start the wait too. I'd imagine you're wait should be almost over. :) Good luck!

thanks for this link, we're in dover delaware and although we submitted our 1600a on 3/31/05 and were fingerprinted on the same day since checking that link i see that for our office they're still processing paperwork from 3/5/05. not that i'm so excited about that fact, but it helps to keep me calm knowing where i am in "line" so to speak!!!

Thanks for the reply Angela. We got our I171 today, May 9th. You were right. It took about seven weeks. Our dossier was sent last week to Guatemala. You are just about a month behind me so you should get your 171 soon. My dossier took longer for some reason. Where do you live in Tn? Agency? Thanks and best of luck! Sandy
