"I received the document on Wednesday and I took it on Thursday to the Ministry of Foreing Affairs (Relaciones Exteriores) because they have to authenticate the Tampa Consul signature. Yesterday at 830 a.m. I submit the Power to the Adoptions Department. The case still the same. I talk with the lawyer [name removed] who informed me that the case still waiting for a meeting that take place every two or three weeks were they assigned the childs to each case. He said that your case probably will be considered in the next meeting that probably takes place next week. I ask him to PLEASE dont forget to consider our case in the next meeting and he promise he will. I going to be back on monday to formally request a copy of the entire file. I going to be checking the case in a weekly basis because I know thats the only way they feel some pressure and speed up the process. As I mentioned you before, at this instance of the process the lawyer (me) cannot intervene directly. I have to have a pasive participation, just watch the process of assignment of the child and the formal declaration of disablement for the child parents.
