I just wanted to pop over from the China forums and say Howdy to all the other KY people who are adopting and ask how y'all are doing and update you on DH and mine's progress towards Lydia.
We are still waiting here, but we should be receiving our referral in Aug. I'll be leaving for Alaska soon to direct a show there again...and hubby will be left here at the homestead by himself. It makes the waiting easier on me & harder on him and I feel a little guilty about that.
However, he tends to get more done off the honey-do list with me away, so I'll load him up with projects to keep him occupied. (I'm just giving like that.) :D LOL.
The nursery is coming along nicely. We have a Chinese baby doll currently residing in the spot in the crib where Lydia will soon rest. (I'm of Scotch-Irish descent and it's a Scottish custom to never leave a crib empty--hence the doll!)
I hope you all are doing well in your journey's too.
Hugs from the Western part of the State!
Hello Lisa!
After a hard failed placement this past winter, we have "our" son! TPR finally happened! Now just waiting to finalize. It's been a LONG hard road,... but he's worth it. (Though I'm so relieved it's over!)

We are well. Kiran will be 2 in August and it's both wonderful and a wee bit sad. *hehe* Mommy's baby boy is growing up. :)
Here's a picture from our summer vacation. He brings so much joy into our home and your little snooky ookums will too. The wait is hard but sooooo worth it and the pain disappears as soon as that little one is placed in your arms. Take care and hang in there.
He is so cute!! Here is Daria chillin in the pool at her birthday party! I wish I had taken it before I put the t-shirt on her.
