HelloI'm new to these forums and wanted to say 'hello'. I'm Traci and my husband and I have 6 bio children (3 adults and 3 small and still at home) and live in Franklin County. My husband and I are wanting to foster/foster-adopt. We are still trying to determine what all we need to do to get the ball rolling, and are talking with friends/aquaintances who have done foster/foster-adoption on their experiences to get more informed about the process. Our house is on the market, but not much action in showings, so we're waiting to see if we are going to move or not before we formally get the ball rolling with fostering. If we do move, it will be to a different county. So I'm reading and learning what the process is like and what we will need to do, so I'm as informed as I can possibly be.I look forward to getting to know everyone. :)Traci

Thanks for the welcome! We have a contract on a house in Sullivan, and this particular house is actually in Crawford county. However, there are renters living in it, and they have put an offer on the house as well - if that's accepted, we would lose out on this house. We have another house we like in Owensville, which is in Gasconade county. So because we're not sure which county we might end up in, we're waiting to get things going and just researching everything to see what we'll need to do. I would hate to get the process going in one county, then have to switch folks we're dealing with mid-stream. So we wait. :)
