What happened to WestVirginia.adoption.com?

And while I'm here...I am matched with a pbmom due in October (forever away it seems!!) who lives in Huntington. I'm from Ohio and will be visiting her in August/September.

If anyone has experience with ICPC lawyers around that area (including Southern Ohio) and/or any hotels to stay in, I would greatly appreciate it!

CONGRATULATIONS !!!

My husband are from Charles Town and adopted our son from Denver CO. The WV ICPC office took about 4 hours to look over the paperwork once our agency faxed it over to the office. We received our son on a Saturday. The ICPC paperwork was in Charleston, WV on Wed. and Wed. afternoon we were on our way home with our son. My husband as been to Huntigton a few times if we can be any help...

I too am from Charles Town, But our adoption was done in md and it took about 3 weeks for us to be able to take our dd home. I wish you the best of luck. Maybe i'll see more talk on wv adoptions.

Hey Crina~ Be as nosey as you like. I balieve it got held up in Charleston and then it had to be sent to MD. Also we didn't go thru an agency. not sure whether that really mattered or not. Are you getting sooo excited to see that little Angel? If you want feel free to OM me anytime.
