Child's Name in Adoption Decree

Hi all, We just got a copy of the Final Decree of Adoption in the mail. Our court date was a couple weeks ago, and I'd found a mistake on the Decree that our attorney needed to correct, so the Judge didn't sign it on that day. But now that we've finally got it back signed, I'm a little worried there might be another mistake... It gives our child's new name (with our last name) throughout the document. One of the last clauses is about "changing the child's name to" and it gives his new there, too. But if it's being changed, shouldn't his original name appear somewhere in the document too, to show what it's being changed from? I'll check with the attorney, but just hoping for some input about this while I'm waiting... Thanks! L.B.
