Trying to locate sister who was given up for adoption at birth in we think Chicago but was born in Illinois. I think she was born between 1954 & 1955 (I was 6 or 7 years old). She may have been adopted by a Fletcher family. :confused:

I WAS BORN DEC 4, 1955 IN SPRINGVALLEY IL. I WAS ADOPTED THROUGH CATHLOIC CHARTIES. NOBODY SEEMS TO WANT TO GIVE ME ANY IN FORMATION SO I THOUGHT I WOULD TRY HERE. I am having a hard time understanding this web site.
But, I hope I hear from you again. I was born in Freeport, IL. I know nothing more than that. My adopted family told me my birth mother is/was 32 years old when I was born. My amended birth cert did agree with that and that I have one sibling. My adopted mom said that my dad was a teacher?? But that was made up I think. Hi again, all signs say my adoption was private. My ped was in Peoria, and the doctor that delivered me was Dr. EA Lucious (sp) Thanks.
