hi
We have been married for 2 years we have a child togever my husband also has 2 sons aged 14 and 7 I wish to adopt them as their mother is dead but im only 25. I realy love my stepsons, but because of my age am i to young to adopt them?
please help am i to young because of my stepsons age.

By law you only need to be 10 years older than the child to adopt. You should not have any problems adopting them as long as your willing to regard them as your own children.

You should be fine! I am 25 and have an adopted 14 year old stepson. Being in California you might be able to use the book by Nolo, Do Your Own California Adoption: Nolo's Guide for Stepparents and Domestic Partners. It has all the forms for an adoption, and I believe it also comes with a CDROM to help you through the process or print the forms instead of taking them out of the book. Good luck
