Hello, I am wondering if anyone has recently submitted their I600 for approval in Memphis and if so, what is the approval time? Thanks for your help!

I just wanted to tell you to be prepared to wait a long time with this office. They are very slow.The average wait time is 4 months to get your I-171H. The wait time for the 600A approval to get you fingerprint appt is about 5 weeks. I am in the same boat as you, and I hate it !

Well, good news for Memphis USCIS office!! I mailed my I600A on a Monday, got a receipt they had received it on that Friday and my fingerprint referral on the next Monday. One week turnaround!!! It blew me away!
We are going fingerprinted on Oct 20th, so we'll see how long the I171H takes to get to us. Maybe they'll surprise me again!

Just wondering if anyone has any updated time frame on this office- We were fingerprinted last week and with the holidays I am afraid we are in for a long wait.

Well, we're on day 37 of waiting so far. It's been 5 weeks, yesterday since we were fingerprinted.
I know of a girl who waited 9 weeks, so let's hope it'll be quicker than that!!
I have been told to call a Senator's office if it's past 6 weeks of waiting, so I may very well do that!

Has anyone filed the I-600A without the home study in Memphis? I mailed in everything but the homestudy (which isn't complete yet), and am wondering whether there will be an extra long delay in "matching up" the homestudy I send in with the stuff that's already there.

Hi - I'm wondering too if I can send in the 1-600A without the homestudy? It seems like many people have a long wait with this office and I want to get a jump on this part first thing if possible. Any info on the Memphis office would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Yes, you can send in your I600A without your homestudy. You will receive your ok to get fingerprinted, however when you get fingerprinted you must show a copy of your homestudy- so it is a good idea to get the I600A in soon but they will not do any work towards your 171 until they receive the homestudy and fingerprints too.
