To Those Who Have Traveled To Ukraine after the New Visa Rules Came Into Effect (after 30 June 2005),

The US Consulate info page says all you need is a passport valid for six months beyond your travel dates and NO Ukrainian visa to travel to Ukraine.

The Ukrainian Embassy web page says you do not need a visa to RETURN to Ukraine within six months of your initial travel provided your passport is valid for six months beyond your travel dates.

So, what is it? Please advise.

I believe you do not need a visa if you are a US citizen. I know of someone who applied for one recently and their whole package was just sent back to them

My reading of the US Consulate web site says the US was eliminating VISA requirements for Ukainian citizens coming to the US.
I haven't seen anything pertaining to the original post. I do know that Canadian and EU citizens do not require VISA (less than 90 days) to Ukraine.
I got this off the Ukrainain Embassy website in London, I found it to be more useful and user-friendly than the website for the Consulate in the US. I have a European Union passport and was trying to find out if I needed a visa to travel or not.
This suggests you do not need a Visa if you are a US or EU citizen. Hope this helps
