I would love to hear comments from those of you who were adopted from other countries, as my husband and I have been considering adopting a baby girl from China. We have no problem imagining how happy WE would be to have a little girl; we just worry about how happy that little girl would be to have parents that she, to the outside world, obviously wasn't born to.
I would just like to know what you feel were the biggest issues you faced growing up. We live in a community with an Asian population of about 100,000, and have many close friends who are Chinese or of other different ethnicities and nationalities, and hope that this would be a positive factor in raising a child who was born in a different country. Any comments you have would be so appreciated!
