FRUA's 2005 Conference
The third annual FRUA (Families for Russian & Ukrainian Adoption) conference,
"Focus on Education and Development: The Future for International Adoptees,"
is scheduled for Friday, September 30th, and Saturday, October 1st, in Newton, Mass., a suburb of Boston.
(The FRUA conference is open to everyone who is interested in the topic, you need not have adopted from EE.)
Thanks to top university medical schools, as well as two international adoption clinics, this area is home to some of the country's foremost experts on issues affecting adoptees, from sensory integration to learning disabilities, attachment, and fetal alcohol syndrome.
Join us to hear presentations from practitioners who work daily with international adoptees and to find out the results of the latest research on how Eastern European adoptees are faring here in the United States.
