I am a birth father searching for a female born Sep 19 1969 in Charlottetown, PEI Canada. She was adopted by an American family in early 1970. She may think her birthday is the new adoption date, that is why I am posting in the 1970 adoption year. Birth name was Sullivan. Catholic Charities handled the adoption. Good luck with your searches. Gerry

Hi, Thank you so much for reading my post and taking the time to answer it. In the adoption world anything is possible, I help others and one of my most recent finds was a birth mother who stated, Don't know how you found me, there wasn't one word of truth in my statements to the adoption people about me or my boyfriend. So the fact your birth father has brown eyes is not good in matching us. I apologize for the late reply as I was driving my aunt to Florida and just arrived home this weekend. We live in Nova Scotia Canada and it is a beautiful but long drive. Take care and I hope your search ends with the happiness you deserve. Gerry

Hi. My name is Lin. I am an adoptee born Jan 13 1970 New York. I have a falsified birth certificate as a result of Catholic Charities. My older adoptive brother's birthday was changed as well. I found his family and found out that the birth mother was trying desperately to get him back. I am wondering if my parents went the "Canadian" route to avoid potential problems. I have an older cousin who was adopted from there as well. I am 5ft. Thin to average with naturally muscular build. Dark brown hair with reddish tints in the sun. Light brown/hazel eyes with a few tiny black specks in them.
