[font=Comic Sans MS]Hi,[/font][font=Comic Sans MS]I am a BMom who was reunited with her Bdaughter 4 years ago. It was a upsetting and frightening reunion in that my Bdaughter displayed serious phycological and emotional problems that I and my hubby (who was totally supportive of my search and reunion) were totally unprepared by any previous experience in our lives to handle. We hadn't a clue how to deal with her behavior.[/font] [font=Comic Sans MS]My question is this. My Bdaughter was born with dark blue eyes and still had dark blue eyes when I gave her up to adoption shortly before age 2. When we met she had light green eyes. I asked her if she wore contacts to which she replied no. I asked her at what age her eyes changed color to which she replied that as far as she knew, her eyes were always green. I do not know what to believe as she told totally crazy lies, all the time. I just wondered if anyone knows up to what age a child's eyes normally will change? Both her BDad and I have dark blue eyes. [/font][font=Comic Sans MS]Thanks so much.[/font]

It is possible that a person's eyes can change colour as they get older. Up until a certain age (can't remember exactly when) my eyes were clear sky blue, now they are blue/green.
My birthfather has sky blue eyes, as does my Mother! Two of my siblings have sky blue eyes on my Mother's side, one other sibling has blue/green eyes like me.
On my Birthfather's side, two siblings have sky blue eyes, the other green eyes, and their Mother has blue eyes like my Birthfather.

I would be a bit cautious but try to do a bit of research first. I have blue eyes that are speckled with grey rims, my son had dark eyes as a new born baby which I expected to turn brown but his eyes are identical to mine now. There are no guarentees as to how a child's eye colour will change or how quickly.
