Best to my knowledge, no. A birth mother may submit a consent for disclosure of identifying info, and update the file with her current address, phone, etc. There is a pretty good web-site located at the following, for you to review provisions for all concerned parties.

I am trying to find a birthmother's sons dob. The hospital is closed--it was a Catholic Hospital in Kansas City. She doesn't remember the exact dob just the month and year. How can she go about finding the dob? Adoption was through Catholic Charities

I relinquished in Florida with CC.. I forgot..(on purpose) my bson date of birth..
My parents went and found the agency in Miami more than twenty years later.. St Vincent Maternity and Adoption Centre.. and mom got the exact date of birth from them..They remembered me..
I was then able to register with the state etc.
I got my non identifying info from CC.. I had to send a registered letter to St Vincent signed by a notary and they sent me many pages of info.. They told me about my bsons aparents with the names blanked out.. When my bson found me on line I was able to type up and send him the info about his aparents and we knew we had a match..
Please tell that birthmom that forgetting the birthdate is common among some birthmoms..
We were told to forget and forget we did..
