I just read on the big Yahoo board that there has been a fire in the director's office at the NAC. Whatever papers/dossiers that were stored there most likely have been destroyed by fire or water. What else can go wrong??

I wish you hadn't asked what else could go wrong!!!! It seems like just when you think you must have overcome everything, something else crops up!!!! I could probably come up with a list of things that could go wrong, but there all likely to happen to us, so I won't What great news for a Friday morning. Let's just hope that it doesn't jeopardize too many families in the process. My concern would be how would you find out if they still have your dossier or whether it went up in flames (or drowned thereafter!!)

I've also heard the fire was very small and that no dossiers were destroyed. The running rumor is that the director was destroying incriminating evidence.
hhhmmmm, makes you wonder.
But on that note, I'm sure we've all got plenty to worry about already, so let's just not add this to the list- hey, remember we were all just talking about all of the productive things we would be doing while we were waiting, so let's concentrate on that and not let this get under our skin!!!
okay, I'm going home and cleaning out a closet!
Have a great weekend!

I just recieved info from my facilitator in Kiev that a protester started a minor fire (no injuries) in the director's office and that it was contained and no damage was sustained in the office or its contents (dossiers).
This collaborates with the previous post.
Good luck to all of us. We need it! :)
