Question about starting a thread...

I would normally ask this in a pm, but I don't have pm ability, so I apologize if this is not the correct place. I noticed that another member has been banned. I do not know and am not asking why. However, she was a very helpful and upbeat member and I wonder if it would be ok for me to post a rememberence thread for her. Thank you
