With the holidays upon us, emotions start to run highraw emotion cultivates strong defenses for our feelings and opinions, something we are very aware of. What we need to remember during this holiday season is that we have members from all sides of the triad and beyond. Please use respectful language when you post and take ownership of your comments by sharing your personal experiences rather than attempting to speak for an entire group of people.
No one will be banned for sharing an unpopular message Ŗ but the method in which that message is delivered must fall within our Terms of Service and Forum Rules. We give equal space to all opinions and feelings with the understanding that everyone has to follow the same rules.
Additionally, this is a mixed triadӔ site meaning that when you post, no matter where you post, your post is read by members of all sides ֖ that doesnt mean you have to be silent, it just means you have to be respectful. We expect that from all members, regardless of triad position.
ItҒs an emotional time of year and the CMs and I understand that Җ just remember to be respectful of everyone and well make it through another holiday season!
Best wishes and Happy Holidays!
Would you consider posting this reminder to the Guat forum? Posts are flying, as always, and emotions are starting to effect the manner in which some convey their message(s). With approaching religious holidays I am seeing more and more "holiday" threads and sweeping statements being posted. Beyond that there is the realization, for some, that their adoptions will not be completed in time for their child(ren) to be home for the holidays, which makes for raw emotions. Suffice it to say that emotions are elevated and I think this reminder would be great preventative strategy. Thanks heaps. :thankyou:
