Has anyone had the experience of removing the staple of a Home Study and then stapling again at another place (the original staple holes are seen), and not had any problems when it was sent to any Official place????? Please reply with any experiences that you might have had,Thanks in advance,:)

We did with our last adoption, but that was five years ago. We did it becuase we were told to make a photo copy of our entire dossier, including the apostilles. It would have taken forever to do it one page at a time, espcially since so much was double sided. So we took staples out and did the whole homestudy stack, putting it into the copier feeder and then restapled. This time we copied it before sending it for the appostile and then we will make a copy of the appostille for our records. We did need those in Russia last time. They had lost the top sheet (appostille) on one document, but because they could tell it had been ripped off, and I showed them my photo copied stuff had the appostille, they let it go. It was a scary moment. It had been lost somewhere in the Russian government's offices. Later they found it in the envelope, but I was glad I had made copies of everything. They didn't seem to notice at the time that we had taken it apart and restapled it.
