updating of the UCIS site...

I think it depends on the local office. My local office had September 15, then December 16, so maybe it's quarterly. I found out recently that my homestudy agency gets weekly reports for our local CIS suboffice. So check with your homestudy agency--they may have more current info.

I followed the web page for quite a while. It is updated twice a month. The end of the first and third weeks but the date slips by two or three days every other update or so. The local offices may not update the processing dates but the site get refreshed. When your waiting its a real stress builder. It's best to be a pest and ignor the ploy not to call. I waited a week longer than I wanted to and wished I called earlier to save a week for a status update because the additional information I sent in was sitting on the shelf for two weeks doing nothing until I called to find out the status. If you get a processor that won't dig your status, call back again until you get one that isn't apathetic.
