I am the wife of an adoptee who has been in reunion for almost 2 years now, after a 7 year search for his birthfamily. The whole experience has touched my life in so many ways and I am so glad I could be a part of it. But it has also left me with the feeling that I would like to help other people in the adoption community if I can.
My husband suggested that I make a blog, so I have started one and would love to have anyone touched by adoption in anyway stop by and give their input.

I am a male adoptee and I think that is great, I searched and found my birth mother years ago, and I've just started telling my story. My story is really long, and I was a teenager who located and balanced a relationship with both adopted mom and birth mom, this year was the first year in forever, that I heard from another adopted male in a social setting, just how that went, I have heard more from females about there decisions, even in the work place or work settings, but it's rare to hear stories from a guey. I can relate this year to I guess sharing a little bit of that experience. Thanks

I've noticed too that you never hear as much from men about the search and reunion process. I would love to hear from more men on how it went for them. I have read some of your story and I'm really glad to hear that you were able to balance a relationship with both your birthmom and adoptive mom! Although my hubby really doesn't have a great relationship with either of his moms, the relationship with his siblings (who never knew about him until I made that call) still amazes me!
