First and foremost take a moment and relax. Not ALL adoptees search. Whether they do or do not also does not mean anything. Missouri is a hard state to search. Buy the birth index for that date. If you believe you have a name take a trip to the area and do research in yearbooks (available at most libraries). Search angels can't do all of the work.

I agree - not all adoptees search. While I understand your need to find her, you also need to respect her and let her be the one to find you. If you have already registered on all the registries that would be appropriate, than that's all you really can do.

Was she adopted through an adoption agency? If so, have you placed updated information in her adoption file. Adoptees sometimes request information from their adoption record but don't search because it doesn't appear that anyone is looking for them. My advice would be to write a letter to her and put it in her file.

i have never knowen how to get ahold of the adoption agency to look for her i know it is a baptist agency that handled the adoption however i am not sure where that agency is can anyone help me with this project on helping me find the adoption agency.
