First of all I'd like to thank all of you for your wonderful advice, it helped me through one of the most dificult decisions I've ever made. Anyways... I just wanted to let you guys know what happened with me. January 4th my dr decided to induce me because of high blood pressure. The labor went beautifully and my precious little girl was born, big suprise, she was supposed to be a boy! My mom was in the room with me when she was born, and my dad and sister were in the waiting room. She's absoloutly the most wonderful baby girl in the whole wide world. My parents are slowly coming around, they're still a little worried about telling people that I haven't seen in awhile, but it seems each day it's getting easier. Once again I can't thank you girls enough for the support and strength you gave me. Here is a pic of my precious Clarie Elizabeth!

Awww, Katie, I am so thrilled for you. What a beautiful daughter you have with such a wonderful name! I am so over the moon happy for you. Congrats.
PM me if you want or need to at any time and keep us updated on how things work out for you.
Your parents will adjust after a while. Who could resist a new wonder like your new daughter? Give them some time, but, I'd be having good thoughts for you. And if you hit any snafus - you know where we are! BIG HUGS!!! :p

Your little girl is absolutely darling and so, so lucky to have a strong Mom like you who loves her dearly. And now you and your Mom have the bond of seeing the 3rd generation born to your family. I hope it helps to strenghen your relationship. So happy to hear that your parents are being supportive. It is hard to make the big announcement to some (can't say we had 100% positive comments in return). Your parents will be blessed many times over with this new family member and by seeing you blossom into a loving Mom. It is a hard journey for all. Just remember to pull together. Thank you for letting us know that you are well and happy. Hugs to you and Claire! Happy G'Ma
