Has anyone recently submitted a I-600A to San Antonio USCIS? I haven't received my homestudy yet for adoption to China. It should get here in a few weeks. If I submit my I-600A this week, does it just go in a queue? Once I have all my paperwork it just get appended? Someone said if I waited until the homestudy came in, I would be that many weeks behind. So confused at what to do. Wait or send now?

Each office has local filing procedures. Check this website and look up the procedures for San Antonio. Some offices don't want the I600A until you have your homestudy done; others can take the homestudy later and then you'll get in the line more quickly.
