Hi. Call me Red. I am a married mother to two precious babes adopted domestically at birth. One is a toddler, though he does not toddle yet; the other is a preschooler, but she stays at home with me. I love staying at home with them, though I did not initially intend to do so. In my pre-SAH days, I worked in social services with children and adults with developmental and physical disabilities and behavioral/mental health diagnoses, spending most of my time working with families and writing behavior modification programs (always with positive reenforcement). My passions are oil painting and politics; however, I have spent more time in the last three years discussing toddler diets and poop than any issue or election. :p I sleep very little and am a coffee addict. I am thrilled to host this forum. Thanks for having me.
Please take a minute to welcome Red are Forum Host :)

Welcome, Redhedded! I have sent many non-triad parents to adoption.com for advice on general parenting issues. The posts on parenting are the most loving, best informed that I have found on the WEB (ref. teething by Happy G"Ma). Okay, let's kick it off with two questions: 1 - Are you a red-haired person (who, according to my husband who sports grayish-red hair, is a category above all other humans)?? 2- Can weary old grandparents like myself join in? Look forward to tons of good advice here. Happy G'Ma
