Parenting is such a joy; I love virtually every minute of it, even the challenges. I think that we are all inspired by our kids everyday, but what inspires you, replenishes you as a human and a parent; what gives you great joy, outside of your parenting; what do you love? For some it is pushing their bodies to accomplish big challenges, like marathons or skydiving. For some it is daily exercise. For some it is cooking or eating great food - color, texture and taste. For others it is reading an excellent book or shopping for a perfect item. Share what you love, besides being a mom (or dad)!

Jenna, Love your list. I'll go.
1. I love the smell of coffee anytime of day.
2. I love looking out at the early morning fog (sometimes pretty rare in my area) and listening to bossa nova, especially Joao Gilberto.
3. I love really good tiramisu; could live on it actually.
4. I love music that touches my soul and can make me weep, from local musicians to Bob Marley, Duke Ellington, James Taylor and Cat Stevens.
5. I am inspired every single day when I drive to get coffee and have to pass by the school for the blind and visually impaired and see the children and adults training with their vision walking sticks. I am in awe of the human spirit, the strength, the courage, resiliency, passion and ability to constantly move forward in the presence of obstacles or unexpected life events.
6. I love to see my parents holding hands. They have been married for 43 years.
7. I love a beautiful piece of art. When I saw the David, I was overcome, stunned, amazed, enthralled.
8. I love watching National Geographic programs.
9. I love taking really hot baths at 1:00 am when everyone else is asleep.
