Depelchin, in Houston, handles the records for Catholic Charities. Call there and ask for Zena. She can help you. They also have a support group for adoptees and birth parents. I think they meet once a month.

I was also adopted through Catholic Charities and was reunited with my birthparents in the early 90's. CC's post-adoption department was very helpful to both me and my birthmother. Have you tried to contact them for information from your file? They gave me several pages of information which included their first names and other info that was very useful. They were MUCH easier to work with than Gladney!
