For those of you who have applied for, and received, a replacement Certificate of Citizenship for your child following a legal name change, how long did it take to receive the new COC from the time you mailed in the old one? And where do you send the application for a replacement COC? CIS has contradictory info on its forms.. some say Vermont, others say your local CIS office. And did any of you apply for a passport for your child first before a replacement COC and then have the passport amended? Thanks.
