My name is Jessie Rush and I am desperately searching for my adopted brother. My search started about 2 years ago when I discovered on my mothers deathbed that she had a son when she was 16 years old who was put up for adoption. My mothers name was Florence Jean Rush, her birthdate was 01/11/1949. The birth and adoption took place in Louisville, Kentucky. A wonderful search angel in KY found his information in the birth books, she discovered that a Florence Jean Lee (my grandmothers last name) gave birth to a Robert John Rush on 06/16/1965. She discovered that his birth certificate number revealed that it is now registered to a Eric John Jackson, whose adopted mothers maiden name is Eleanor L. Rogers. Family rumors claim that a family in MA had adopted him. However, after countless people searches I have found records of an Eric Jackson DOB 06/16/1965 that went to high school in Alexandria, VA and has listed old addresses in Petersburg, VA and Bowie,Upper Marlboro, and Glenarden, MD. I have no idea how to go about locating him from here, I feel so close, yet so far. Family is so important to me, I don't have a big family, and to think I have a blood brother out there I would just love an opportunity to get in touch with him, and hopefully build a relationship with him. Any advice or help you could offer would be so appreciated. Thank you. Jessie Rush.

Hey there,
Could it be possible that the boy was adopted in Chigago through a church and/or Anderson Med. Bldg.? My hubby's name is Eric, just wondering what is really going on with his Birth cert. lots of dead ends that make no sense so Im trying all avenues and possibilitys at this point. All the lies that surround these type of adoptions are so very fustrating, I have been looking for 6 yrs.....! Good luck, and write if ya like. Liz
