Spring must be around the corner because the Red Sox are dominating the local media (who needs the Winter Olympics?) again. Will Manny continue being Manny? Has Curt fully recuperated? Will Josh Beckett be OK? Can Coco Crisp fill the void left by Johnny Damon? What's up with David Wells and Matt Clement?
As usual, spring training is a soap opera with Terry Francona and Theo Epstein trying to make sense of it all. Its funny - I never tire of it, and the Sox have been a true obsession of mine ever since I attended my 1st game at Fenway when I was 7.
How does everyone feel about the changes they're making at Fenway? I won't miss the 406 club since I've only attended one game there in my entire life and I like the idea by demolishing it increases the outdoor capacity to 38,000. With more seats, maybe just maybe I can score Yankee tickets someday.
Anyhow, is anyone else looking forward to the upcoming baseball season?
As a big sox fan living in NYC, I am looking forward to the season but am not up to date on all the goings on. I have to start reading the globe on line again and catching up. Having Damon here is going to kill me- I hope cutting his hair has made him lose all his ability!

Linda -
Yikes! A Sox fan in NYC...have you ever gone to Harrison's Tavern in the UWS?
You should definately check out the Globe online - lots of interesting articles. Damon as a Yankee is killing me, too. Here's hoping Coco can rise to the occasion, I think he'll do well at Fenway.
