I was wondering if anyone had any info on how to find an ex-foster child. My parents fostered before I was born (in the 70's) and had one foster son they were very attached to and wanted to adopt, but it didn't happen. My mom would love to find him, but I can't find even any appropriate forums. Any suggestions?

May have to do a Zaba search for his birth family members if he was adopted later his last name would be changed.

My parents only have his name and when I search for it there are a lot of people with that name. The thing is he was taken right from their home when someone adopted him and they ended up only keeping him for a very short time and sending him back into foster care and my parents had no way of finding out what happened to him after that.

They could contact a supervisor in the foster care system that handled his case. They may have some info on him.

I would try a supervisor - they may be able to forward your info to him.
Good Luck - My Grandmother had a foster daughter for over 1 year before she went back home to Dad. Her Mother had died and Dad could not handle 5 kids. My cousin found her. Her family came to my Grandmothers 80th bday party and surprised her. My Grandmother was so happy to see her and know that she was good - grown with kids and a husband.
