I am searching for my two nieces. My brother misses them very much and would like to find them. They were born in the Texas area in the eaerly 1970's. Their mother died young, maternal grandparents became guardians. The girls were close together in age.
Would you happen to know if they lived in Dallas/Carrollton ? I grew up with a Joey, Dale(who had a studder) and I dont remember the 2 other brothers names....all had light br to black hair. Let me know, and good luck. Liz

They were born in Houston pretty close together. The mother, Barbara Grimes or Grymes was killed in an accident, she was run over by a car.
It looks like the girls may have been born in the late 1960's and were born in Houston. Barbara Grimes was hit by a car and killed in December of 1971 we think.
Im not sure of any girls in the mix of 4 boys, but that doesnt mean they didnt exist. Have you checked the Houston Chronical or Dallas morning news -papers from that accident? Look for the OBIT in the papers, usually they print next of kin and such, keep in touch! Liz

It is the Hosp. that Covanant Childrens Home(in Chigago) went through...
My hubby wants to know, but then again doesnt, he has his days. Ive been trying to surprize him for years, he would like to know his Medical stuff though. Good luck and thanks from all of us here for your efforts! ;)
Yep, I think I even put a post there. I've gone through ZaBa search as well. My hubby's adoptive dad is a computer analist with IBM, and a VERY good one at that. Im sure he coverd his tracks well. I found a receipt for a donation to Covanant Childrens Home, not sure what that connection is though. Like I said, Ive been looking for years and he doesnt want to pay to find out any info,(the hubby) so I'm still looking.....
