"Member" title

I've noticed that some people have something other than "member" or "junior member" etc under their avatar. Is that an option for everyone, or only for certain mucky mucks? ;) If it is, how do I access it, and if it isn't, how do I earn it?

Go into your USER PROFILE Aand under Optional Information, find CUSTOM USER TITLE and add what you want.

I've tried this and it doesn't seem to work - are you sure its under optional information? :confused:

Halfway down the page you will see a box that includes this wording:

Optional Information - All information will be viewable by other forum members. Custom User Title This is the title that appears beneath your name on your posts. Check the 'Reset' box if you wish to use the the default title for your usergroup and post count. Your current user title is:

Professional Cuddler Reset Custom User Title:

Use that. :)

OK, perhaps I am having a dense moment but the only items that come up in Optional Information for me are Birth Date, Home Page URL and Instant Messaging. I have changed my Custom User Title before, maybe you're allowed to do this only once?

Opus, on mine, it is the box selection directly above birth date.

PM Brandy if yours simply doesn't exist.

I change mine frequently, so I know it's not just once.

You should be able to change your user title, but it might be something funky with the settings too since you are a moderator.

I'll look into it and let you know...:)

I'm denser than I thought, I kept clicking the RESET button not knowing I was defaulting to the user group title.

Crick, You've got that right. Of course, my office pool entry is toast, but then so isn't everyone else's. I just read a while ago at the ESPN site, that 4 people actually picked the Final Four in their MM pool...what's up with that?
