Note regarding recent forum activities.

As most of you know, I have been out of pocket the last week I was/am in the process of a very long move and just now (in the last hour) got some reliable internet connectivity at my new location. The decision to remove the forums was one that was made for various reasons ֖ some of which have been posted. This thread is not intended to be a debate thread, a discussion thread over your dissatisfaction over the removal or even a comment thread on the removal this thread is purely for information purposesօif you have a comment youd like to make about what I am saying here, feel free. If you want to comment about the removal of the forums, the thread will be closed, as that is not the purpose of THIS thread. First and foremost, I want you all to know that I am working as hard as I can to get things worked out on my end. No, the GLBT forum as we know it will not be coming back Җ but that doesnt mean that another GLBT forum wonҒt be put in place. I am working closely (as of today) with the owner on coming up with some type of middle grounda way we can all have a little of what we want and be happy (or at least content). The owner of the site is very interested in providing a support forum for our GLBT adoptive parent membersŅhe recognizes that GLBT adoptive parents need a resource for support and is interested in coming up with a solution to provide that support here on the forums. I am writing this post because I want you all to know that I am working on itI am doing the very best that I can to make sure that everyone is happy. If you do elect to leave the forums over the decision that was made this week, I understand and I am sorry to see you goŅbut if youre leaving, there is no need to post a ґgoodbye post Җ as those threads/posts are being closed/deleted per out forum rules. If you do elect to stay on the forums in anticipation of change then I urge to you please give me some time to work on thisօand by that, I mean, please refrain from continued discussion of the matter, which has been closedbecause every minute I spend here posting/editing/deleting/PMing is one minute I could be working on my proposal and/or discussing our options with the owner. Trust that I am working as hard as I can to make sure that everyone here is treated with kindness and respectŅand most of all, with fairness. Now, if you have a question about what Ive posted here, feel free to post. Please, DO NOT turn this into a bashing/attacking thread and please DO NOT turn this into a venting thread over the loss of the forum. I know, IҒm working on it, and Id like to use this thread as a means to keep you all informed҅and I cant do that if the thread gets closed.
