You definately need to go to the DR. If you are not pregnant there could be something else wrong that needs to be handled. They will not think you are stupid believe me. Alot of females have gone to the Dr. thinking they may be pregnant, some are and some aren't. Please go and get checked out for your health's sake. Are you on any form of birth control? Keep me posted please. Good luck to you.

Get over your fear and go to the doctor. Take a friend with you. It's been six months since you had unprotected sex; if you are feeling different and are not pregnant, it would be wise to have a pap smear to check out everything as it is. STDs are a real threat to sexually active people in this day. There could also be other internal reasons, other than pregnancy, causing your weird feelings so the best course of action would be to get everything checked out.
hey... thanks to all who replied. I am planning to go to the doctor ASAP. I was not using any kind of birthcontrol at the time so I think that is why I am so concerned! But one more dumb question really quick... is it possible to have any kind of a period while pregnant if i am? I started today but i still feel random twitches in my belly off and on! thanks again , manda

My dad was a doctor (actually he still is, just retired); I still remember the night he came home from the hospital and told us how he'd cured a girl's stomach pains -- turned out to be a 6 pound baby girl.:D Seriously, I'm glad you're going to the doctor. There are so many possiblities other than pregnancy. (Including sheer fear!) You might want to talk about birth control too! (as one of my classmates in college said about birth control as we discussed her coming wedding, "I guess I can't just keep saying no!") Blessings,Kathy
I went to the doctor about 3 weeks ago... just one of those urgent care centers and saw a physicians assitant. the whole experience made me feel like such an idiot! i dont think she had any more training than me! I went in because i was having alot of pressure in my lower abdomen/uterus area. They did a test for a uti and it came back negative so i was told go buy some uristat and see if it gets better! Maybe i should have gone to a regular obgyn but I am still so scared. any input? thanks to those who already replied! manda

Have you been to an ob/gyn recently? If not (or if so), I'd make an appointment and have a thorough checkup. (Pap smear, etc.) Ask to see the doctor! Most often it's the not-knowing that is the most frightening. My experience has been that most of us deal better with the known than the unknown. Chances are you have noting to worry about. Do get it checked out! Blessings,Kathy
I was 3 months pregnaunt with my daughter and 4 1/2 months pregnaunt with my son. All the test i took came back neg. I finally decided to go to a doctor but those tests arent really realiable. And it isnt healthy for you not to see a doctor. Not for you or your baby. They wont think you are stupid...its an honest mistake people make no one our age wants to admit we are prgnaunt.
