this is really difficult- it is so incredibly easy for kids to access it when all their gadgets have internet access- ipads, tablets, phones, gaming systems, etc. If a kid really wants to they can find it anywhere-- even at school in the computer lab. There are so many websites that seem innocent enough but have no regulation as to what people post on them. I would not let him use the computer unless I was in the room with him sitting right next to him. Don't let him have a phone with internet access, don't let him have a gaming system with internet access or a tablet or any kind of device he can get internet on. Make sure the school has firewalls installed - they should have them. Keep in mind that if he is determined to access it, he will find a way, so just be very watchful and mindful of what he is doing.

There's a difference between magazines and what you can find online. Interest in sexuality is natural, but when boys are developing their ideas about sexuality, what they find online can be extremely damaging to their sense of healthy sexuality. It can also warp their view of women: what they should look like and do, as well as their role in sexuality (to be there only to satisfy the man). Arguably, adults can recognize it as fantasy.
